Well - this needs work

How do you find time to get to everything that you are supposed to be doing? Facebook, blogspot, plaxo, linked-in, and I don't even twitter!
Getting into the AU mode already. Submitted my class, co-teaching on another if it gets voted on.
Everyone go vote!

Getting down to business - Tips that is

I have decided to try to really do what I intend to do on this blog - post tips and tricks for Revit and AutoCAD.
I am putting my first one out here today and I promise to try to get out here more often.
The first one is from my AU class in 2008.

Revit Tip #1 - Adjust the Temporary Dimension Font Size

Open the Revit.ini file in Notepad. It can be found here:
C:\Program Files\Revit Architecture 2009\Program\Revit.ini
Add the following line:
[Graphics]
TempDimFontSizeInPoints=N
The value of “N” has a default of “8” so you need to increase this value. A good point to begin is to double the size. It is best to do a search for this text to see if it has already been changed in the ini file.

Christmas goes on and on

Christmas seems to go on and on around here. Last week we were in Georgia with my stepmom's family. Many from AU remember Nona.
Yesterday it was a quite Christmas time at home with just Robert, Cresta, Knox and me. Great meal and relaxing day. We ended up playing Trivial for hours last night.
Tomorrow we are off to the Tabor family Christmas in Nashville. This will be a full day for sure with the traveling and the visit.
Monday I hope my sister will be able to make it up to see us. Her husband and her are supposed to be coming from South Carolina. They will pick up my dad and come out for a while.
The kids and grandkids had so much going on with their families that we are waiting until we could time it to get us all together. They will be out here on January 10th.
The season just goes on and on!

OK Here goes

Everyone was after me to get started blogging.
So here goes.

Revit is my software of choice.
Family is very important to me.
I am a sport fan for the University of Tennessee football and basketball teams.

OK - So I have started.

I hope to put fun facts about what is going on as well as some Tips and Tricks about Revit and AutoCAD here.

I hope everyone at AU that bugged me about this is now happy!
